JUMP Engagement Points and Tiered Benefits

Active JUMP members earn engagement points for participation in JUMP sponsored activities. Engagement points are calculated at the end of the semester for active JUMP members ONLY.

The JUMP Tiered Benefits provides active JUMP members with a selection of items that support the pre-health journey and may offset costs associated with some pre-health experiences. The higher the engagement, the more benefit options members will have access to.

All JUMP members have access to JUMP sponsored workshops and sessions.

Active JUMP members have access to specific benefits that support their pre-health journey.

Active JUMP members who earn at least 600 engagement points have access to expanded benefit options via the Tiered Benefits list based on engagement in JUMP programming.

Participate

Members participate in JUMP sponsored activities (register and check-in) to earn the corresponding points for the activity.

100 JUMP Engagement Points are earned for JUMP sponsored events and workshops.

200 JUMP Engagement Points are earned for JUMP sponsored immersive and leadership experiences.

Earn Activity Badges

An activity badge is awarded for participation in JUMP activities.

Members can view earned badges from the Hopkins Groups home page by selecting "My Activity Menu" and "My Badges."

Accumulate Points

Points accumulate for participation throughout one semester. However, points will be calculated at the end of the semester for active JUMP members ONLY. Points WILL NOT be calculated for members who did not achieve active membership.  Active members will be notified of total accumulated points after the semester ends.

Points DO NOT rollover from Fall semester to Spring semester. Points begin at 0 at the start of each semester. So, be sure to redeem your points!

Redeem

Active JUMP members may use their points to request JUMP benefits prior to the deadline.

Active JUMP members choose ONE benefit per eligible semester. Active member benefits are based on level of engagement, which is determined by total engagement points per semester.

Active JUMP members are eligible for ONE benefit per semester and may choose from the applicable benefit list below, based on engagement points.

Redeeming Engagement Points

Redemption Period

Active JUMP members may submit the Active Member Benefits Request Form during the redemption period only. Eligible members may select only ONE benefit item per active semester.

Active members will be notified when the points redemption period begins, but the Active Member Benefits Request Form must be submitted according to the deadlines below:

Fall semester 2025 Active Member:
Request Form: Jan. - Feb. 28th at 11:59pm (must use benefits by May 15, 2026, except where indicated)

Spring semester 2026 Active Member:
Request Form: June - Sept. 30th at 11:59pm (must use benefits by December 15, 2026, except where indicated)
